This spring, Embry-Riddle’s Golden Eagles Flight Team claimed their 16th National Championship at NIFA SAFECON. We thought we’d take you back to the beginning.
Pictured above in 1981 (check out those wide-collar shirts…very aerodynamic!), the Golden Eagles of Embry Riddle’s Prescott Campus set in motion three decades of air superiority. To date, the teams have clinched 38 consecutive regional championships and 16 national titles at SAFECON, courtesy of the National Intercollegiate Flying Association.
