Love is in the Air at Oshkosh

Watch out for these lovebirds at Oshkosh

What makes EAA AirVenture so meaningful is the personal connections that represent the Eagle family. One such connection is the love story of Kim (’93) and Dean Rosenlof (’95). Dean spotted Kim across a crowded field, wearing an Embry-Riddle shirt, and the rest is history. There’s even a plaque at EAA AirVenture to commemorate their love story.

The Rosenlofs both became pilots after graduation and married at the EAA Fergus Chapel in Oshkosh, just after EAA AirVenture in 1997. They still fly together in a Trojan T-28, a military trainer first flown in the 1950s. If you’re looking for love, don’t forget to wear your Embry-Riddle shirt to EAA AirVenture!
